I was _very_ pleasantly surprised about this product. It properly
charges an iPad/iPad2, which is something most other charges in this
price range fail to do. And in addition to that, you can charge multiple
things at once? Win/win.
The setup is also great, the USB ports are all nice and close together so it takes up very little room once all is said and done.
The only downside is the crazy bright blue LED, which I quickly put a bit of tape ove (read more customer review)

Based on current measurements with my kill-a-watt meter, this is capable of charging at 2 amps (5v usb) on a single port (not just 500 mA per port). Great deal and a compact package (read more customer review)

Purchased to use on a trip where we were taking 3 phones, 2 nooks and Android pad that all need
higher charge rates.
It worked well putting out the required amps but there are 2 bright blue LEDs on the charger that
are way annoying if you are trying to use the charger in your bedroom.
