By SG (USA) - It doesn't work
This product doesn't work. Contacted the seller - they replied as follows and it still doesn't work
after I followed their instructions. The JPGs are in DCIM directory (which is where my
Pentax writes its files to - so that definitely is not an issue). My laptop does see
the files in the SD card. I simply cannot get my iPad to see the files. My iPhone4S
doesn't even recognize the accessory. (read more customer review)
The seller seems sincere but sadly the product for me doesn't work and they are not accepting
the product back. If I could, I would give ZERO stars and I rarely like to give a negative
rating. Sadly I am not left with any choice here. (read more customer review)

By kenneth- Using 5in1 adapter with SD card as external storage
I have an IPAD 2 with 16GB. Can I use this adapter to set up a Micro SD card such that I can offload items off of the internal storage to the SD card? For example I download digital comics. I'd like to offload them once I read them to free up memory for more comics. Is this possible with this adapter?
Is there some other way I can use this or some other adapter to set up an external storage device to offload items stored on internal memory? (read more customer review)
By Mark L. Neuman- Not worth the four bucks
Very cheap. Hard to seat the connection while in the case. That could be a case issue. The 5 in one is actually more like 2 in one. USB and flavors of SD. You must have a folder called DCIM, it will only look for that folder - that is very limiting, but I can live with it. It says it will read JPG and TIFF files. Once I got it to recoginze a jpg file. Most of the time it would not recoginze any photos at all. I tried the usb and the sd card. The one file it did recogize was on the sd card. The same photo on the usb card was not recoginzed. I tried changing the name and still wasn't recoginzed. Tried other photos on both the card and usb and none were found. Plugged them into my iBook and all were found right away. Tried to use this adapter with my iPad and it reports nothing there. I tried to find the same photo it found before on the sd card and it could not find it. I deleted it and readded it to the card and it still could not find it.
Too bad this had the potential to be very handy. As it is, it is a complete waste - thank goodness it was cheap.
On the other hand it came fairly quickly given it was coming from China. (read more customer review)
